What is SeniorNet?

What is SeniorNet?

The SeniorNet Learning Center is an independent branch of SeniorNet, an international organization devoted to bringing our senior citizens up to speed and making them comfortable working with technology and computers. We are one of the many services offered by the Region IV Area Agency on Aging, which serves Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren counties.

SeniorNet is a non-profit organization that provides older adults (50+) education for and access to computers and the Internet to enhance their lives and to enable them to share their knowledge and wisdom with the world.

Our volunteer staff of instructors and coaches is drawn from the local community and is overseen by a coordinator, responsible to the local Area Agency on Aging. Check the "Our Volunteers" page ... you may have a friend in our group.

The Area Agency on Aging uses volunteers to teach and coach the classes that are offered, and to manage the program and keep the equipment operating. We appreciate their support and their donation of time and energy to this program. We are also grateful for the generous financial support of corporate sponsors that help to make this program available to all seniors who live in this area of Michigan.
