SeniorNet
is another quality service offered by your local Area Agency on
Aging in Southwest Michigan. Part of a national computer support
system, SeniorNet provides opportunites for mature adults to explore
the possibilities of the Internet, to learn the potential of computers,
and to enjoy the fun of electronic communications.
If you've
never worked on a computer before, or if you simply want to learn
more, SeniorNet is the place to come.
Classes
are designed specifically for the interests and desires of mature
people. You will learn how to find information on hobbies, as
well as serious health & financial concerns. You will also
learn how to create and send email, pictures, and greeting cards,
as well as how computers can organize those routine tasks we all
have to do efficiently and conveniently.
And you learn all
this in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere, with patient, older
instructors and coaches giving you personal support.
It's all about helping
you learn to manage computers and the Internet for the things
you like to do. It's not just for the younger generations and
it's fun!
