Information and Assistance

Information is just a phone call away, at 1-800-654-2810. That's the Senior Info-Line  where older people and their families can get answers to questions about their special needs.

The Information and Assistance program's community information managers are trained to answer questions about;

  • Services available through the Area Agency on Aging or elsewhere
  • In-home care
  • Medicare
  • Medicaid and insurance
  • Finding housing, food or transportation
  • Financial assistance
  • Nearly everything of importance to seniors and their families

In addition, the program has an extensive collection of books, pamphlets, magazines and videos that people can borrow from its Public Resource Center.

The program aims to supply information that reinforces an individual's capacity for self-reliance through education, advocacy, collaborative planning and problem-solving.

If you would like more information, please contact us via telephone or send us an email request.
